A kind of magic
Across the globe this week, many small acts of kindness were made to celebrate World Kindness Day.
In The Art Room, our young artists worked thoughtfully to explore this uplifting theme and created their own simple but heartwarming gestures to brighten someone’s day by designing greetings cards to give to somebody special in their lives after class.
We talked about how practising kindness through art is a wonderful way to connect with other people and express how we feel. Drawing from their personal experiences, the children were encouraged to channel their own ideas into bold and colourful designs that encapsulated their message of kindness to those that meant the most to them.
By the end of the day, a wonderfully vibrant and generous display of cards was proudly arranged on The Art Room mantelpiece spreading kindness throughout our space.
